Should They Have Stayed? Flames Before The Fame and Fortune

November 6th, 2011 - By Drenna Armstrong

These celebs were happily married or together before or just when they were beginning to be noticed by the world. But they’re all divorced/separated now. Do you think their former significant other is now kicking the ground wishing they were still together?  Hey, you have to wonder!

Who cares about any of these people? They can marry or divorce as they see fit, and it doesn’t affect me one way or the other. Is your own existence that miserable that this is news?

Will’s ex wife Sheree, is now married to a pastor and seems to be very happy. Her and her new husband appeared with the Smith family on Oprah a couple of years ago.

We take advice from our gynaes/ob’s who are most often men…why not take advice from divorced and cheating men? Maybe the divorce has made him wise…lol

Don’t be sorry for the exes in each case because MONEY ISN’T EVERYTHING! If someone cheated on you & you don’t have the grace to deal with that, – even God gives you permission to divorce. As for Will Smith’s ex, Sheree Elizabeth Zampino it was reported that she had hated the limelight. she ended up marrying ex NFL Player Terrell Fletcher who is now a Pastor, I trust God she’s happy.

Allegedly, she caught him getting “what what in the butt” . She’s married to a minister, now.

…Does Steve Harvey have a thing for women whose names start with ‘M’?

    • Salangi11

I was wondering the same thing…:)

Some of these are not great examples. Will was already a star when he married Sheree and there actually was really bad blood after the divorce he said it was Jada who bridged the gap between them (the power of a real woman). Martin & Pat Southall are also a bad example because again, he was a superstar when they got married – I remember reading about their wedding in Ebony and it was quite the extravaganza. Jill and Lyzel; Kevin and Torrei are true examples of of folks who were together in the grind, experienced the success they dreamed of and then saw their relationship become the sacrificial lambs of that success. Shame when it happens that way but sometimes folks just grow apart and one never knows how money and fame will change you until you’re there. He Loves Me remains an amazing tribute to the kind of love that many wish they experienced just once in their lives.

Soooo (in ref to Kimberly Elise being married) 89-05 is 26 years now? I can’t take you seriously with this foolery.

    • DrennaB

      Hey MISSWILL,

Whoops…please forgive that error! It has absolutely been corrected. Thanks for pointing it out.

Um, what kind of article is this? It’s probably for the best that the couples stay apart. They all /split/divorced for a reason. Steve Harvey’s first 2 wives probably left because they got tired of his ‘ole knee slapping, big loud country, “break me off a piece of that funk” looking ass. Although his 2nd wife looks like she’s of the same ilk herself.

NOW someone please direct me to where I can find Kevin Hart’s ex going in on him. Not my funny lil chocolate drop. #RealRapRaw#

      You are funny!

    • MsSunshyne77

      Waste of time watching tho!

    • DrennaB

LOL!!! But I do think if Lyzel is still single, he and Jill will get back together.

That video is all over the place!

      • Opinionated4Days

Nope. She inferred that the more successful she became the worse the marriage got. If there’s one thing a talented and ambitious woman does NOT need—–it’s an insecure man!

    • Sdennis334

LMAO @ your Steve Harvey comment!
