How to Filter Out the Wrong Guys FAST

November 4th, 2011 - By Julia Austin

"Black couple on date"

Ever been on date #3, or #11 and wondered, “Where the hell did that come from?” when a guy did something out of character? The truth is that at that point you couldn’t have really known his entire character. But you might have started to like him, and then been totally disappointed when he displayed a trait that you knew you couldn’t live with. Bet you wish you’d known before… It just never came up because the opportunity hadn’t presented itself. You’re not going to notice that he has jealousy issues if all of your dates have been one-on-one dinners, or picnics in the park. And you have no way of knowing how big or small this guy’s comfort zone is until you (by chance) try to take him out of it. Then you realize that you two are too different. Fortunately, there are a few tricks to help you find out the important stuff fast, so you can avoid getting attached to the wrong guy and move on. Here’s our best advice for how to filter out the wrong guys fast.

I recently made the decision to walk away from an engagement because i began to pitty him, forgive him more than i could imagine forgetting him & just stopped seeing him in my future. Also that whisper of intuition became a monster

I like the one about showing your quirks.  I’ll never forget the time I started talking to a great guy and of course I launched straight into some of my very animated and corny humor. I quickly caught myself and said “You’re actually laughing?” To be clear, I think I’m hilarious and sometimes I laugh at myself (lol).  He turned to me and said  “But you ARE funny.” :)

Shut the hell up, heffa….You know damn good and well that these bytches made this entire bullshyt about how a woman should “STRIKE UP A CONVERSATION ABOUT HOW A BYTCH SHOULD TALK TO OTHER MEN IN FRONT OF HIM” and let that shyt go, because MY AZZ would be out of that bytch and she would be paying for her own damn dinner….And any REAL man would tell that BYTCH to go to HELL and never call her again…..THAT is the truth….

  • DAYWALKER (THE DAYDREAM!!!!)

How about you heffas post up a manual about how to “FILTER OUT” the wrong AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMAN??? Oh wait….That would go against the whole premise that AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN are blameless in their BULLSHYT, right???

    • Dlmcnare

Actually, a few months ago Madame Noire published a list of characteristics women possess that keep them from finding the love they want, and living a good life. It’s been very balanced. You, however, are not.
