Jackie Christie, Please Go Find Your Pre-Episode 9 Self

I’m still trying to pinpoint the exact moment that “Basketball Wives LA”’s Jackie Christie went from just being tacky to completely wacky—or kooky as Laura likes to call her.

I honestly thought I had missed a secret show between episodes 8 and 9, because somewhere in the midst of those two airings, she lost her mind. Between the oversensitivity when the girls’ mimick her catchphrase (along with everyone else’s), to her I-was-tricked-into-thinking-the-roasted-pig-was-stuffed-with-chicken-so-I’m-going-to-go-cry breakdown, to the paranoia about Laura and Imani having a one-on-one chat about their own beef on episode 10, I’m completely done with this woman. Truth be told, Jackie already had a bit of a rep for being crazy over her man—but you can’t tell her that. Remember how she checked Draya? Now, it’s not hard to imagine her following the team bus when Doug was on the road or banning female reporters from interviewing him with the way she is trying to run the ladies on “Basketball Wives.”

I’m wondering why we didn’t see this side of Jackie before, but in looking back at old episodes, it seems she was implementing her instigating plan for a least a few shows and now it’s just finally coming to fruition, in the middle of paradise. I just don’t understand what she expects to gain from this. I know she mistakenly thinks she’s the “boss b****h” and all, but seriously who will respect her after the season ends?

It’s unfortunate that the one woman who actually is a “happily married” basketball wife—in the history of the whole show (excluding Malaysia)—is a divisive nut. So much for being the mature role model out of the crew. I think a couple of camera crews and a few interviews have gone to this chic’s head.

Has your opinion of Jackie changed since you started watching her on “Basketball Wives,” or in the last few episodes? Are you disappointed that the matriarch of the group has turned out to be just another crazy character in the BBW series?

    If Jackie was a man, she would be a pimp, straight up. She is the quintessential mean girl and has some serious self-esteem issues with her narcisstic ways. Her behind is textbook DSM. Doug, she is effing up your brand.

    I thought I liked Jackie until I saw this episode… she has some serious problems! But I think she’s doing what the porducers of the show want… and that is drama drama and more drama… they say she renews her vows every year. I thought it was endearing .. but now I wonder if its just another dramatic attempt wto feed her need for coddling .. BTW, didn’t nobody trick her aboutthe pork. they talked about it in the van.. you see a pig on the platter or sppit and think there giving you chicken???SMDH

    The heaux is MESSY just like NeNe Leakes. HOW they are able to talk smack about EVERYONE then claim “victim” when someone checks them!?? I WISH I met these two… They’d get they ass BEAT.

    This lady is kooky for real! Its like she was trying to get everyone against Laura but at the same time asking Laura “You still love me right?” Who says that?!? It just reminded me of high school all over again but the shameful part is that these are grown women.

    She’s a complete waste of a black woman. She gives women in general a bad look. Every time she opens her mouth I become more disappointed in how women like her who fail to realize that their behavior affects us all. She doesn’t even see how it will affect her own children b/c those children are going to be harassed by their pets b/c their mom is off her rocker. Plus she is passing the behavior on to them which means that they will learn to be as crazy as her. If I was her husband I would let her know that her behavior is childish & to please quit future seasons to spare our family further shame & embarrassment.

    I cosign with you 100% about Jackie, I was trying myself to justify her character but as each episode aired, her true colors were coming to light. Shame on her grown ass instigating such and such to them and shame on Iman ass for even believing her if it didn’t come from the horses mouth she had no reason putting Laura’s belongings in storage. Jackie is starting to sweat her snake antics are coming to light.

      jackie is truly crzy she needs mental health intervention like 10yrs ago . i never felt she was stable long before basketball wives
