Try using a water enchancer.  There are a number of water favor enchancers that can change the the taste of water.  Some of them are very good.

SSLJC needs to calm all the way down. This is not Cosmo.com lol. Of course water is important to everyone but this site is directed to black women. Just like a lot of the things included in GQ are directed at men but would benefit women as well. . .

I digress. This is a great article. I have several family members who refuse to drink water because they don’t like how it tastes. We’ve got to do better. . .

I am one of those people who barely drink water. It does not have a taste to me, tastes dull. But because of my health & articles like these, I have began to force myself to drink the liquid…

Excellent article! I love water! Like you said, all kinds of problems can occur if a person is dehydrated.

LOL…you do realize this is a Black site right?! Therefore the issues discussed will be Black related…smh

I get what you’re saying, but it’s not that simple.  Our country has a sordid past.  That past has painted our present and far too often that present is not very friendly to “Blackness.”  Until I see a Black woman’s face just as much as, or even more than I see a White Women’s face in mainstream media, I will advocate for sites like this.  Until we are given an equally weighted voice within a social majority I applaud Black women giving advice to other Black women no matter how poignant it is across races.

I grew up in Jamaica.  My family was PO’, but one thing they have is an amazing grasp of the ethnic identity.  Stateside ethnicity and race are the same when they shouldn’t be.  In Jamaica, that’s fine. In the United States “Black” is a race AND an ethnicity which drowns out the culture with which people identify. So it’s different outside the United States because it can be.

This isn’t about one race being “superior or more special”  it’s about a group of people who are still marginalized trying to change the cultural norms — for the better. I’m alright with that any day.
