Target’s New Activewear Line JoyLab Not Only Goes Up To 4X, But Everything’s Also Under $50
The way people mix high-end fashion with affordable pieces for everyday wear is how I go about activewear.
I might spend $60 on a heavy duty sports bra from Nike, but will pair it with some Old Navy pants and a basic T-shirt. Or maybe I’ll do GapFit pants with something I picked up at Wal-Mart. But the truth is, I’m always hoping for a deal when it comes to workout gear, but not at the expense of quality.
The good news for me, and the rest of you fitness lovers out there trying to hold onto your coin, is that Target is coming out with its own chic activewear line, and everything in it will cost between $14.99 and $44.99. Considering some tops from certain brands can cost close to $40, that’s a pretty good deal for a full line.
Great perks to this selection of pieces is that everything goes from an XS up to a 4X. You read that right.
And while Target has sold activewear from different brands for years in stores, according to the company’s press release, they’re offering more than just clothing with JoyLab, but still have plenty of chic takes on performance gear.
“By combining street style details with the technology of a true performance-wear line, we created a one-of-a-kind brand that encompasses everything from sports bras to bottoms to bodysuits to bags,” the press statement reads. “JoyLab will keep you inspired and motivated — while looking totally on point, of course. And once barre class, boot camp or yoga ends, these pieces are fashion-forward enough to transition from the studio to the streets.”
I checked out the offerings not only in the lookbook but also on the website and like what I see so far. Sport bras start at $14.99, with one even having a back pocket for your phone during a workout (genius!). They also have mesh-panel leggings, cut-out sweaters in funky textures and colors, as well as moto jackets, capris, wrap sweaters and accessories. Check out more of what you can expect from the line over at the JoyLab page at Target.com.
If you like what you see, you’ll be glad to know that the line will be released on October 1 and will be updated continuously throughout the year. With that being said, it’s lit! Check out a few of my favorites below:
