The last few years haven’t been the best for singer Teairra Mari. She’s been arrested for an altercation with an UBER driver, charged with battery and theft over it, her mother has been sick and the “Make Her Feel Good” singer has struggled with alcohol abuse.

But it became apparent during this most recent season of Love and Hip Hop Hollywood that the star was out of control. She was seen on camera intoxicated, stumbling, and things got to a point where her friends and a show producer staged an intervention to get her to go to rehab. She was initially very defensive about the idea, specifically the thought of going for 90 days, but after hearing from everyone, including co-stars Moniece Slaughter, Nikki Mudarris and producer Treiva Williams, she agreed to go for at least 30.
Well, the 29-year-old seems to be back from rehab. After her Instagram seemed to be wiped clean while she was gone, at the very end of August she slowly but surely started posting again. That includes sharing a sneak peek at a new single called “Bad,” a few throwback photos, as well as more recent images of the beauty looking happy and healthy post-rehab:

Out of all the foolishness that has been displayed on Love and Hip Hop, it was nice to see them spotlight the realities of alcoholism and to actually help Mari do something about her abuse of it. We’re glad to see her in a much better, and healthier place.
