No matter how hip people are getting to the truth about the detox teas on the market, that doesn’t mean that they aren’t popular and aren’t still being bought like hotcakes when people run out of the time, energy and care to do things the old-fashioned way. And because of that, many stars are still getting paid big money to promote and help sell these products. That includes those whose shapes are often unfairly picked over and criticized by fans.

For instance, Love and Hip Hop Atlanta star Tammy Rivera took to Instagram this week to help sell Flat Tummy Tea. Quite a few fans were skeptical:

Things went left in her sales pitch when people started making accusations about how she obtained the hourglass figure that she is known for. While some stars are honest about the work they’ve had done (fat transfers, liposuction, butt injections, breast implants, etc.), and others keep it on the hush, some emphatically say their curves are natural. Rivera countered accusations about her body by saying, for the record, her hips and backside are all hers and that she hasn’t had a Brazilian Butt Lift, so people need to get over it already:
Whatever questions people may have had about the rest of her body, Rivera isn’t commenting on that.
Unfortunately, she’s received all sorts of questions about her figure lately. And while it would probably be best to ignore them, Rivera often takes the time to confront it. But whatever it took to get her body, she knows, as the rest of do, that it didn’t have much to do with anybody’s tea in a bag. So in the future, the beauty might want to leave detox tea hustling to the many other celebrities who still think it’s a good idea…
