Angela Bassett is easily one of the baddest Black women on our TV and movie screams. Her arms, those abs, her…acting. We continue to find ourselves in awe of Angela’s age-defying appearance, but one thing that does tell her age — just a tad — is her style. Angela’s been at this for a while, which means she survived bad ’90s fashion, struggled through the early 2000s, and finally settled into her fabulousness in the 20-teen years — still with her precious furs.
To mark her 59th birthday today, we decided to take a look back at Ms. Bassett’s style transformation since she stepped on the scene, giving us a taste of what’s in store for her ’60s.
