Mature men aren’t doormats. When they know, in their gut, that their partner is being impulsive, immature, or selfish, they do not surrender or indulge this activity. They find intelligent ways to get their partners to reflect on their behavior. They take it upon themselves to help their partners grow and see the errors in their thinking, when necessary.
