Word on the street is, Girls Trip is hilarious. But there was nothing funny about the looks the stars of the upcoming comedy (which hits theaters on July 21) wore at last night’s premiere in Los Angeles.

They stepped out with their best updos in a variety of chic fabrics, prints and materials looking like hot fire. I, for one, was pretty impressed. Check out the looks from the ladies at the premiere and let us know if you thought they were all sartorially stuntin’ on the red carpet.

Girls Trip

Regina Hall

I mean, everything about this look is gorgeous, especially the detail on the gown and the hair.

Girls Trip

Sanaa Lathan

Those earrings! The style and fit of the dress! Sanaa looks amazing.

Girls Trip

Tiffany Haddish

No one deserves to look more like new money than funny lady Tiffany Haddish, and she made sure that was the case in this Alexander McQueen gown.

Girls Trip

Jada Pinkett Smith

A one-sleeved dress with pockets? In this color? C’mon! Hot. Fire.

Girls Trip

Queen Latifah

Could the pants be tailored to fit a little better? Uh, yeah. But does Queen La not look beautiful?

Girls Trip

Kelly Rowland

Seriously, when does Kelly Rowland not slay in terms of fashion these days? Love, love, love the skirt and hair.

Girls Trip

Garcelle Beauvais

Garcelle matched the pink carpet in a fly shirt dress that gave us Victoria’s Secret, pajama party vibes.

Girls Trip

Yara Shahidi

Hey, glasses! Hey, hair! The Black-ish star looked age appropriate meets bookworm chic and very cute in this two-piece ensemble.

Girls Trip

Essence Atkins

Atkins played with prints, textures and sheer materials and we think she looks cute.

Loving the hair on Estelle! We would have loved a fun lip color to make this whole look pop, but the singer looks great nonetheless.

Girls Trip

Laura Govan

Even though Girls Trip is a comedy, Laura Govan brought the drama in this ruffled mustard gown.

Girls Trip

Golden Brooks

The shoes must go (and be burned), but we think Golden’s dress is fun and the right fit for a femme-focused night on the town.
