Amina Buddafly Balances Yoga Poses And Daughters Cori And Bronx In Instagram Clip
A study published in the journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics in 2014 found that the less active a mother is, the more likely her children will be sedentary when they’re young. Amina Buddafly of Love and Hip Hop New York isn’t going to let that happen, as the mother of two is making sure she’s as active as possible in front of her daughters, Cori and Bronx.
The 34-year-old has practiced yoga for years now. In fact, she told Uptown in 2013 that if she weren’t singing, “I would be a Bikram yoga champion or an instructor.” In fact, before joining Love and Hip Hop, she considered doing Bikram yoga training because she had become addicted to the practice.
Two kids after that interview, she’s still going strong and tries to juggle the practice with motherhood. It isn’t easy, but it’s always adorable! Amina shared video of herself going through a wide range of poses while her daughters ran around her, climbed on her and eventually took part in some of her moves:
Bronx literally crawled under her, guys. I. Can’t. Deal.
It’s good that Amina is a yoga addict, as yoga can help you deal with everything, including chronic pain, headaches and high blood pressure. As the video showed, it can also make you quite flexible, increase muscular strength and help you gain a balanced metabolism, keeping your weight down. And on top of that, it helps you manage stress. With all the stress Amina’s dealt with over the years (two words: Peter Gunz), along with trying to build her music career and raise two kids, yoga has helped her look at things with a positive outlook. We also have a feeling that her love of the practice is going to rub off on little Cori and Bronx.
