Lindsay Lohan is making national headlines for her acceptance of a $1 million offer to pose nude for Playboy. Times must be really hard for the once beloved actress, who has been unable to successfully bridge her childhood successes into equally lucrative adult fame. Personally, the vision of Lohan’s party-addled body spread out for the world to see is not so appealing, despite the fact that Photoshop works wonders. You would think Playboy would spend that cash on women of real natural, glowing beauty — like the African-American women you see here. In the decades that Playboy has been published, only a handful of black women have received the distinctive honor of being featured as the epitome of womanly desire.
I am usually against female objectification, but in this instance I actually want to applaud the African-American Playbloy Playmates who made it into the magazine. As usual, the bar was set higher for them (they had to be gorgeous), but these black women still admirably demonstrated our sensuality to the mainstream. As Lohan will make a small fortune for far less, these black Playboy Playmates of the past deserve our positive attention at this time. Check out these black beauties — and eat your heart out Lindsay!
