Stop Facebook Stalking Your Boyfriend!

October 25th, 2011 - By madamenoire

So you have a man now. (Yay!) While you should be basking in the glory of your new relationship you just can’t help looking for the cloud in the silver lining. Whenever you’re not with him you spend your time glued to his Facebook wall, scrolling through his Twitter timeline or going through ancient pictures on his now defunct Myspace Page. Girl, stop!

Check out what relationship expert, Virginia Feingold Clark, has to say about this behavior and what it says about you over at YourTango.com.

I learned my lesson when it comes to facebook stalking. There was one time when there was alot of drama going on in the fam and poor hubby got caught up in it as his facebook was the only thing I felt like I could control at the time. We've kissed and made up of course but I realized it was a really stupid move on my part and I learned from it as it caused unnecessary drama between us (short lived, thank god.) I now completely stay away from his page as his business is just that his business, plus stalking takes to much effort. If you're a stalker, stop it now before you have no man. Just my two cents.

So I literally laughed out loud when I saw this because I’m guilty as hell when it comes to fb stalking my boyfriend. But it’s not because I’m insecure, because I’ve seen girls on his wall and whatnot but that doesn’t really bother me, we just have a long-distance relationship, so everytime I feel like I miss him I go through his pictures and fb status’ like a weirdo. But it’s whatever it makes me happy :-)

"Word of advice, stay away from each others facebook, twitter…"

Or people can get over their insecurities and stop being jealous.

That's true.. I'm fully secure with myself. It only drive you nuts when who you are with cant trust that facebook is not your life. I will never disrespect who I'm with on no friggin facebook or get upset unless some dude says something sexual to my girlfriend.
