Dallas Rapist Targeting Members of Delta Sigma Theta

October 24, 2011  |

In the suburbs of Dallas, a rapist appears to be targeting members of Delta Sigma Theta sorority.  In the past 11 months, four women, all in their mid-50s to mid-60s, were attacked in their homes in Plano, Coppell and the Denton County community of Shady Shores.

During the assaults, the man reportedly revealed personal information about the victims, according to The Dallas Morning News.

Video and photos of a man who could be connected to one attack have been released. The perp is thought to be black, in his late 30s to mid-40s, 5 feet 7 to 6 feet tall and 250 to 300 pounds. He appears to have a thin, well-trimmed beard and short hair, possibly with a receding hairline.

I heard about this but I didn't believe it. I was told to not wear any paraphernalia that shows that I am a Delta. This makes me so sad and as one of my sorors said, "This is the worst example of greek obsession I've ever seen".

Shame, all women need to stay on the look out for suspicious activity.
