I’ve recently become obsessed with NBC’s show “This Is Us.” And when I say obsessed, I mean I watched the entire first season in less than two week’s time. It is incredible. I’m sure by now you’ve heard of it, and I’m here to tell you, yes, believe the hype. Now that we have to wait until next season to catch our favorite characters, my sister and I have started delving into the social media lives of the cast, particularly Sterling Brown, who plays Randall on the show and recently won an Emmy for his portrayal of Christopher Darden in “The People vs. O.J. Simpson.”
My friend Victoria also watches the show and brought to my attention that Sterling’s real-life-wife Ryan Michelle Bathe is also on “This Is Us,” portraying the mother to young Randall’s Black friend. If you’ve seen the show, you know who I’m talking about. Ryan’s character is both the voice of reason and access to the Black community.
Anyway, Sterling’s Instagram page is full of adorable moments the two of them share. And since love’s in need of love today, I thought I would share some of my favorites with you all.
