Classes We Wish They Taught In College

Ah, college. Such a wonderful time of enlightenment, self-discovery and growth. We learned so much about ourselves, the world we live in and, oh yeah, our field of concentration. However, we do wish that there had been a few other classes offered to help us navigate this thing called ‘life’ (*in my Prince voice*). In a dream world, here are some of the college courses that we wish we could have added to our school’s catalogue. We’re sure you’ll agree.

I agree that basic cooking skills and money management should be mandatory–alongside chemistry, English and math. My biochemist friend would never have gotten where she was without her introductory science classes. I certainly wouldn't be teaching at a college without English, and my husband's math classes are helping him with his degree in internet security. For the folks that can test out of general ed, they should ( I did). For others, they NEED those classes, trust me. I teach them.
