I can’t imagine being a celebrity with a part of my job being that I consistently have to field invasive, redundant and asinine questions. The price of fame is a bit annoying, to be honest. I say that because of something Us Weekly, recently asked singer Kelly Rowland.

The publication asked Rowland about the relationship between her 2-year-old son Titan and Beyoncé’s 4-year-old daughter Blue Ivy. Things started off nicely enough. Kelly responded, “They’re extremely close. It’s the sweetest thing. It’s the greatest thing about friendship when you’re able to grow up together and your children are able to grow up together. It’s just years upon years of beautiful friendship and sisterhood.”

Then the magazine took a turn for the weird asking if there was a possibility that Titan and Blue Ivy might eventually start dating one another.

Rowland handled the question well, laughing before she said, “They’re like cousins!”

This is what I mean about the struggles of being famous. If it had been me, my face would have been all screwed up. Like, why are you trying to rush my child to get grown? I know it was innocent, well-meaning and an excuse to talk about Beyoncé but it’s just strange to put adult feelings and desires on children who haven’t even started grade school yet. Ewww.
