Leave it Alone!: Movies that Should Never Have Sequels (or Prequels)

“Coming To America”

One of my favorite movies OF ALL TIME is Coming to America. Old school Eddie Murphy, Soooooul Glo, and bedazzled African royalty wrapped in one hilarious, yet touching package. Dear Hollywood, please never pervert this classic. You know, like  produce the following horrible sequel: Prince Akeem’s son comes to America to compete in an international hip hop dance battle with Julia Stiles. Coming to America is a near perfect comic masterpiece. Let it be.

    The worst sequels ever in the history of film making…….(drum role)….Jaws 2, Jaws 3D, Jaws the Revenge. Come on the shark’s great grandson laid in waiting for 20 yrs to kill the son then followed the mother to the Caribbean and let’s not forget it growling…come on. I heard a few yrs ago Hollywood was going to re-make Jaws starring Tracy Morgan. How do you re-make a classic? You can’t and don’t.

    They already have a sequel to Snakes on a Plane…it's Snakes on a Train. :(

    But I co-sign with everyone else, no more remakes or prequels or anything …EVER!!! It loses the feel of the original, in my opinion.

    NO MORE MUSIC SAMPLING!

    Does nobody have a creative bone in their body anymore? The same goes for losers like Fergie and Rihanna (and just about every pop singer and about half of the r&b crowd) who use way too much autotune.

    Look up "vocaloid". They're already taking over for the singers. Give it a few more years before they really start to infect the states. If nobody's going to be original anymore we might as well replace the entertainment industry with robots.

      Vocaloids are people making up there own songs with robots singing them. They aren't meant to sound human, and they don't. It's for fun.

      Why do people take this nonsense seriously? Not everything created has an ulterior motive.
