Which “Married At First Sight” Alums Are Getting A Second Chance At Love?
If you’re a fan of FYI’s “Married At First Sight,” like we are, there’s a good chance that you think about the couples who didn’t make it, the ones who didn’t choose to stay married. Last season we watched as Sam and Neil, David and Ashley, and Vanessa and Tres failed to stay married. And I know we, here at the office, wonder if these people have found love. Well, it looks like two of the former cast mates will have a chance to.
David and Vanessa from season 3 of “Married at First Sight” are trying again.
In a press release from the A&E Networks confirmed that:
FYI has greenlit 12 episodes of the spin-off series, “Married at First Sight: Second Chances,” it was announced today by Gena McCarthy, EVP of Programming and Development, FYI. The series will follow “Married at First Sight” season three viewer favorites, David Norton and Vanessa Nelson, as they get another shot at finding life-long love. Production begins immediately in Atlanta, Georgia with the series slated to premiere in 2017.
In season three of “Married at First Sight,” David’s marriage failed, despite his efforts to spark a connection with his wife Ashley; while Vanessa’s marriage to Tres blossomed, only to fall apart after filming concluded. Now, with the experiment over and their divorces finalized, David and Vanessa are embarking on another journey to find their soulmates.
The two will have a chance to date real people and viewers who are eager to date them. This time their family and friends will be involved in helping these two find their potential partners.
“Married At First Sight: Second Chances” is currently in production and is set to air in 2017.
