Washington, DC

If Atlanta is the city where Black women are moving on up, Washington, D.C. is where Black women have made it. Average incomes for Black men and women are $20,000 higher in D.C. than they are in Atlanta. That’s because university (Howard University is here) and government jobs pay well here and the cost of living is higher.

Also, D.C. is a great place to meet professional Black men from all walks of life with lots of places to do so.
