Clutch your makeup bag, Kylie Jenner is trying to expand her popular Kylie Cosmetics to the Black female consumer. The youngest “Kardashian” has just debuted a lip shade called Brown Sugar, especially for women of darker hues.

“BROWN SUGAR! I finally achieved the perfect nude for darker skin tones,” wrote 19-year-old Jenner on an Instagram shot of close friend Justine Skye modeling the new tan shade.

Jenner also unveiled two more shades–Dirty Peach and Love Bite, a dark mauve which appears to look great on women of all hues, as evidenced by the picture below.

Even though we love how gorgeous Justine Skye looks in the pic above — and are sure this color would look stunning on other brown beauties — Kylie’s long-documented history of appropriation has many Black girls saying “I’ll pass.” Like Abi Ishola, founder of Beyond Classically Beautiful, who asked on The Huffington Post, “Has Jenner made an effort to educate herself on the origins of black beauty traditions? Has she even shown her admiration for Black women as a whole with sincerity?”

That would be a no and no. But will that stop you from buying this latest offering?
