Edges are a sensitive subject when it comes to black hair. Between being more prone to breakage and being an integral part of the health of your hair, no one wants to be without them. However, breaking edges is nothing new to many of us. Unfortunately, this is an affliction that many of us have experienced with relaxed hair, excessive straightening, and even with natural hair.

Many women are self-conscious of the thinning or breaking edges, but Tamar Braxton has been open about her struggle of experiencing shedding along her hairline after giving birth to her son Logan.

In a recent interview with Hype Hair, Braxton shared what products she’s been using on her hair. “The No. 1 thing I use is S.H.O. (Simplicity Hair Oil) products and I swear by them because that’s what got my edges to grow back,” she said. “I swear by it and I use it myself and it’s probably the most amazing thing on the market.”

Braxton also divulged that her favorite hairstyle this season is the top knot and our favorite protective style of braids.
