Over the years we’ve regularly updated you on breakthroughs in the Black girl nude movement, like Christian Louboutin adding new shades to his shoe collection and Nubian Skin‘s lingerie selection, but a new site called Fleshtone.net is about to take the (chocolate) cake.

Pegged as an Amazon for nude products that includes a blog and e-commerce site, Fleshtone is a directory that lists any and every nude item a person could want or need from clothing, makeup, nail polish, and shoes, to construction paper, multicultural paint, bandages, invitations, and even dance gear.

“I always wanted a resource for the full spectrum of products that relate to darker flesh tones and there wasn’t one–so I made one,” creator Tayo Ade told Elle. The Australia-based lawyer and professional dancer was personally frustrated with her inability to find skin-color fishnet stockings for a Samba performance, which she eventually pulled out of as a result, and that’s when she got the idea to launch a one-stop shop for all the nude products.

“It takes quite a long time to search the internet and try to look for what people have said about them. So, having one place to really build a community and find out what people are saying is really important. I am a role model for my kinds and representation really does matter,” Ade said.

Funny enough, though there’s still a ways to go as far as nude inclusiveness, Ade is now running into the problem of trying to stay on top of it all after launching Fleshtone last month.

“There’s an infinite number of brands that cater to fairer flesh tones, and with brands like Nubian Skin, there is so much room for growth and I’m really excited about what they’re doing. I actually can’t keep up. There is so much coming out, it’s crazy! I love it!”
