A mother’s job is never done – especially when raising bright, ambitious super kids.

Moms, I’m sure you agree – looking into the eyes and souls of our little ones is nothing short of amazing. We make sacrifices daily to increase their quality of life and overall well-being. In fact, we invest so much into our kid’s dreams that we pray for a positive return as they enter into young adulthood.

In celebration of wonder kids with big ideas, who are raised by super moms like you and me, Madamenoire and African Pride Dream Kids present their first ever ‘Be the Boss’ editorial series, which highlights super moms and their passionate journey of raising vivid leaders.

Meet Marve Frazier – Chief Creative Officer at Moguldom Media Group and CEO of Bossip. Mother to an 11 year-old super athlete, Jase, this entrepreneur shares her thoughts on her son’s contributions to the world and the traits that she notices that will hopefully make him a success story.

Madamenoire: Name a time that Jase totally blew you away with something that he said or did?

Marve Frazier: His elementary school has this program called ‘The Fun Run’ and every year the kids are supposed to raise money for their school. Every year Jase sets out to be the highest grossing kid in the class – and every year he does.

Madamenoire: During your preparation for mommy-hood, did you envision what type of child your super kid would be? Perhaps a lawyer, a doctor, an entertainer, an educator, or a super-athlete?

Marve Frazier: Based upon my background and his dad’s background, I already knew that he would probably be a super-athlete. I would say more or less as he grew older, I would envision him as an entrepreneur, just because he is very aggressive about getting things done, by any means necessary. Truthfully, Jase is focused. If he sets up a goal or he is out to do something – he pretty much will do anything in his power to get it done. Aside from being a strong athlete and kind, he is also very humble, which I think will take him very far in any career he chooses.

Madamenoire: When did you notice that your child was uniquely different from his peers?

Marve Frazier: He is humble, but one other thing about him is that he is assertive. He doesn’t back off until he gets the things that he wants. He is the epitome of personality. I feel like he is a people connector. He is very independent. He will feed himself and take care of everything.

Madamenoire: What is one thing that you’ve introduced to Jase that you hope he continues to do?

Marve Frazier: When I was younger, I didn’t really travel with my family. However, with Jase, I make sure to expose him to things. His passport has more stamps in it than mine. I tell him things straight up. Kids have to know what’s going on in the world.
