Simple, All-Natural Facial Recipes For Summer

The Quick Strawberry Facial
– 2-3 small strawberries

– 2 tbsps. fresh Greek yogurt

Directions: Use a mortar and pestle to mash the strawberries and then add in the yogurt. Mix the two ingredients together and apply to the face. Leave for 15 minutes and then rinse, first with warm and then cold water. Gently pat dry with a hand towel.

The Cilantro Refresher
– ¼ bunch fresh cilantro

– 2 tbsps. fresh Greek yogurt

– 2-4 tbsps. fresh Aloe Vera gel

Directions: Finely chop fresh cilantro (leaves and stems) and combine with yogurt and Aloe Vera. Leave on for 15 minutes and then rinse, first with warm and then cold water. Gently pad dry with a hand towel.

The Tropical Fruit Punch
– 1/8 papaya

– 1/8 pineapple

– 1/3 banana

– 1 tbsp. lemon juice

– 1 tbsp. honey

– 4 tbsps. of fresh Greek yogurt

Directions: Grind the fruits and combine with honey, lemon juice, and yogurt. Leave on for 15 minutes and then rinse, first with warm and then cold water. Gently pad dry with a hand towel.

The Honey Banana Combo
– 1 ripe banana

– 2 tbsps. of honey

Directions: Mash the banana with a mortar and pestle, and combine with honey. Leave on for 15 minutes and then rinse, first with warm and then cold water. Gently pad dry with a hand towel.
