The Modern Chef: Festive Cocktails For July 4th

June 29, 2016  |

In the spirit of the 4th of July, here’s a patriotic themed menu of festive cocktails and wines for the upcoming holiday.  How about the red-topped Maker’s Mark bourbon, or a crisp, refreshing white wine from California’s first wine-making family Trinchero Napa Valley? And for the blue, the all-American (and all-natural) Ménage à Trois Vodka. Enjoy these cocktails for July 4th responsibly.

Maker’s Mark, $25

Maker’s Mark is the whisky darling of the south that honors its rich American history by crafting its bourbon the very same way its founders did. Fastidious about tradition, every step of the process remains just as it was over sixty years ago– from the grains to the hand dipped red-wax seal. There’s no better classic spirit to enjoy on America’s birthday.
