Reasons You Should Take a Man-cation

It’s been three years since you’ve had a steady boyfriend, but you’re dating life is far from stagnant. Left and right, you’re approached by new guys. It just never seems to work out. During the first ten minutes of dinner you often find yourself counting down the seconds until it’s over. You’ve tried Hot, not-so-Hot, nerdy and dumb; yet, almost all seem to have the same problems. Not to mention, your number of sexual partners is starting to get a little high. A girl has “needs,” right?

Occasionally our dating lives can get a little out of control, and we find ourselves circling around the same mountain in the rat race for love. When quantity rather than quality best describe the men in your life, it’s time to consider taking a man-cation, otherwise known as a vacation from dating and relationships.

Good article. I think younger women should go on mancations too. And by young I mean 18-24. I think that's the time to get to know yourself and what you like. Not go hunting for the affections of men whenever the opportunity arrises.

Man-cation? Please…. I retired! Men are too much of a bother and a hassle. It's about time I just stay by myself.

"You’re getting a little promiscuous: Has your number of sexual partners skyrocketed from 3 to 13 in the last 12 months?"

Yes, but that's because I had to take a side job at the zoo to make ends meet, and well.. things happen!

    Don't judge me!

I’m on a man-cation because I’m bored with my choices. I’m almost forty so I seem to attract older men, almost too old cuz their not into smart phones, tablets, texting, or FB. The younger ones aren’t mature enough and just want to know what you can do for them and I seldom meet a man my age that isn’t already married.
I am enjoying my freedom, no cooking, cleaning or stroking egos. LoL
