Bye Girl: 3 Life Lessons We Learned from Meeka Claxton on “Basketball Wives”

August 19th, 2011 - By Victoria Uwumarogie

Oh Meeka, Meeka, Meeka.
You tried your best to stand out on “Basketball Wives” this season and well, standing out got you a butt-whipping and a lot of haters. And while I wasn’t a fan of Claxton’s “antics” on the show, I definitely felt bad for her by the end. Why don’t these women get they’re playing themselves signing up for this show!? To know Claxton brought so much drama, usually something that makes you a big star on the show and a shoo-in to be brought back for another season, instead it made her enemy number one. And sources this week said that she might just be getting the boot. According to a radio interview Shaunie O’Neal recently did, she says, “She’s pretty done…I mean, it just didn’t work…I hear she wants to come back, but it just doesn’t make any sense.” So while we won’t miss Tami’s latest punching bag like that if she really is told to step, at least we can say we learned a “lil” something from her follies:

I have watched the show , and I'm glad for a chance to express my opinion about it. It sucks!!!!! Shaunie O'neal , what can I say? DISGUSTING, SAD AND PATHETIC. I can not watch black women beating each other up and calling each other names. I thought it must be staged because I find it unreal that these women actually think they're friends with each other. I hope they're making lots of money. I also hope they're getting health insurance , they're gonna need it if thety keep beating the crap out of each other. SO SAD.
