August 8, 2011  |

So you hate your job. That’s nothing new, especially if you’re working in a field that’s the opposite of what you want to be doing. In order to get out of your current place of employment and avoid an impending lapse in sanity, you’ve got to start looking elsewhere. But how do you look, send out resumes, and go on interviews without tipping off your current employer? You definitely don’t want to sacrifice your current paycheck by getting caught applying for something you might not even get a call back for.

That’s why our friends over at Black Enterprise compiled a list of things you need to do and NEVER do when you’re on the low-key search for a new gig. From keeping up your dress and improving your work ethic so it looks like nothing is up, to keeping your searches for job postings at your designated HOME computer, the following tips are a must.
