One Tennessee woman hoped to recover all of the money she spent on losing Powerball tickets by launching a reimbursement campaign on Go Fund Me. Kid you not.

The woman goes by the name Cinnamon Nicole, and she claims that she is flat broke because she took such a tremendous gamble on the jackpot.

Please help me and my family as we have exhausted all of our funds. We spent all of our money on lottery tickets (expecting to win the 1.5 billion) and are now in dire need of cash. With your small donation of at least $1.00, a like, and one share, I’m certain that we will be able to pick ourselves up from the trenches of this lost and spend another fortune trying to hit it big again! PLEASE, won’t you help a family in need. DONATE NOW.

Reportedly, in exchange for donations, Cinnamon offered to share Man Crush Monday and Woman Crush Wednesday posts featuring her generous supporters. According to Vibe, the campaign collected a little more than $800 before Go Fund Me administrators shut it down. We have to admit that we’re shocked that she even collected that much. Hopefully, this is all a hoax, and this woman didn’t blow all of her family’s money on a jackpot where her chances of winning were only 1 in 292.2 million.

Sigh.
