Marie Holmes Powerball winner

As the three winners of yesterday’s Powerball drawing prepare to start a whole new, ballerific life, 2015 Powerball winner Marie Holmes’s life seems to be doing a rollercoaster of sorts. Her boyfriend, Lamarr McDow, can’t seem to stay out of legal trouble, which has cost Holmes millions in bond money for everything from drug and gun possession to being involved in illegal drag racing. But according to new reports, Holmes has found herself in some trouble this time around for allegedly harassing and threatening another woman.

According to Wilmington, North Carolina’s WECT, the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office served Holmes with a misdemeanor criminal summons. According to court documents, a woman named Lorna Marlowe has accused Holmes of threatening “to inflict bodily harm” on her and placing numerous harassing phone calls on January 10 to intimidate Marlowe. The woman filed her complaint that same day.

Holmes has to appear in Brunswick County court next month. If she fails to show, an arrest order may be distributed, and she could be held in contempt of court.

Of course, Marlowe could be going after Holmes because the Powerball winner has millions to her name and people love to go after wealthy folks in an attempt to siphon some money from them. You know, mo’ money, mo’ problems.

But then again, EurWeb claims that Marlowe is a woman that Holmes’s troublemaking boyfriend has been involved with. Whatever the case, she’s found herself caught up in some real drama.

Holmes has involved herself with quite the characters. I just know that if I won $88 million, you wouldn’t hear anything from me or about me, because I would be on a boat in the middle of the ocean eating Ovaltine cookies and watching Dateline episodes…*sighs at the sight of losing Powerball tickets in the garbage*
