New details regarding rape allegations made against Nicki Minaj’s brother, Jelani Maraj, have been revealed, and they paint a rather disturbing picture.
According to our sister site, Bossip, the felony complaint filed against Maraj alleges that he raped the 12-year-old victim as early as November 30—the day before his arrest.
“…From about April 1, 2015, until November 30, 2015, the defendant, Jelani Maraj, engaged in a course of sexual conduct against a child,” legal documents state. “He engaged in these acts with the victim while knowing (she) was less than 13 years old.”
An order of protection has been issued, which prohibits Maraj from coming within 100 yards of the alleged victim.
Although it was previously reported that Nicki personally bailed the rapper out of prison, new documentation reveals that the rapper’s mother, Carol Maraj, is actually who got the defendant out of prison by putting up her home, which is in Nicki’s name, along with two $50,000 promissory notes. As previously reported, Maraj has been charged with first-degree rape and first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child.
