Janet Jackson Gives Kendrick Lamar’s “Poetic Justice” The Ultimate Cosign
Iconic pop songstress Janet Jackson has hit the road with her highly-anticipated “Unbreakable” World Tour and is already receiving rave reviews for her performance.
With a set list featuring classic hits like “Pleasure Principle” to “Rhythm Nation”” to “Control,” Jackson has also included a few current tracks like the J.Cole-assisted “No Sleeep” to her already expansive lineup.
In addition to showing love to the North Carolina emcee, a fan captured Jackson turning up to Kendrick Lamar’s 2012 hit “Poetic Justice” at her Grand Rapids show on Friday (Sept. 11) night.
Serenading fans with her original “Anytime, Anyplace” track, which Lamar sampled in “Poetic Justice,” Ms. Jackson smoothly transitioned into the Compton native’s rendition, jamming and two-stepping to the beat. We even peeped a slight Diddy bop (around the 0:24 mark) too.

Anytime a musical legend like Janet is jamming to your song like that, it’s definitely nothing short of a cosign.
Janet’s next show stop in the U.S. will be Raleigh, NC at the Walnut Creek Amphitheatre. Click here to check out the full list of her U.S. tour dates.
