You and the boo just happened upon a moment. There’s kissing, touching and before you know it clothes start coming off. (Yaasss!) But instead of being completely committed and engrossed in the moment you’re thinking about the pounds you put on, the dimple in your left thigh and the shape of your breasts.

Girl, stop that!

Easier said than done right?

Alright, well the women at YourTango have come up with some very practical, very helpful ways for you to improve your body image.

One of which includes the knowledge that no one sees your ‘flaws’ as you do.

“It’s easy to think that everyone sees our area of concern—be it butt, thighs or arms—the same as we do. Chances are they don’t; they may actually love those parts. We can’t see it because we’re wrapped up in our own story… Instead, listen to what your partner says. Does he compliment your breasts even though you think they’re saggy? Does she lovingly touch the stomach that you think is ridiculously huge? See yourself through your partner’s loving eyes.

You can read the rest of these tips and the rest of the story over at YourTango.com
