Brad Pitt formally adopted Maddox — whom Angelina Jolie adopted while she was still married to Billy Bob Thornton — years before they tied the knot (and went on to adopt daughter Zahara and son Pax). And since Thornton and Jolie split soon after Maddox’s adoption, I don’t imagine he had much to say about Pitt’s involvement in the child’s life.
