Black Twitter Talks: Young Activists, VH1’s Sorority Sisters and D’Angelo

Christmas is almost here, but Black Twitter hasn’t slowed down. As usual, folks are busy dishing about the latest in politics and pop culture, and even though it’s only Tuesday, it’s already been a busy week!

Vh1’s New Show Sorority Sisters Angers Members of Black Greek Letter Organizations

VH1 rolled out its latest reality show, Sorority Sisters, last night, and boy were people UPSET. The show takes a look at the lives of a group of women in the “Divine 9” (the four Black sororities in the National PanHellenic Council), and serves up a huge helping of drama. Many took umbrage with the portrayal of Black sorority life, and shared their displeasure on Twitter.
