Jazz Up Your Home This Holiday With Sears

November 25, 2014  |

Moms, what better way to kick off the holidays than with a super fly home decked out in all its splendor? Last week, my friends at Sears and Kmart sent me a $100 gift card, so I could go holiday shopping! Woohoo! Trust me, the holidays are right around the corner, and no retailers are better prepared to help me (and you) deck the halls than Kmart and Sears!

Did you know that Kmart and Sears recently conducted a survey and found that:

·       1 in 4 Americans will begin to deck the halls one month before the holiday.

·       41 percent of Americans defined their signature design as “classic,” followed by “colorful” (37 percent) and “vintage” (12 percent).

·       More than half (58 percent) of participants felt the most essential decoration for the holidays was the Christmas tree

·       Nearly 25 percent of Americans choose decorating as their favorite holiday activity, with listening to Christmas music and shopping as other favorites.

With all of this shopping fun, I wanted to share the experience:

To celebrate the uniqueness of this holiday tradition, Sears and Kmart are launching the Best Dressed Home Sweepstakes! So what’s it all about? Read the details below:

CHECK OUT HOW I USED MY $100 GIFT CARD FROM SEARS and KMART

Because I haven’t bought my tree yet, I had to create looks that complimented my home. With my $100 gift card, I splurged on ornaments, poinsettias and garlands courtesy of Donner & Blitzen. In my pics below, I used a large plate on my dining table to house Donner and Blitzen Ball Ornaments in Chestnut and Warm Gold. I sprinkled Donner & Blitzen Artificial Fabric Poinsettias around the edges. Cute right? Peeking from the sides you will see Donner and Blitzen Gold Leaf Christmas Tree Ornaments!

How fabulous is this glittery deers? With no tree, I had to stand it on my bar table area. In the background were Donner & Blitzen Champagne Stars. I opted to keep a warm golden look in my home this season verses my traditional bright reds and greens. I truly think this scheme works for Holiday 2014.

Let the party begin. On my bar table area I placed Donner and Blitzen‘s super cool Eiffel Tower and Chrysler Building Christmas Ornaments. You can also see the traditional Christmas trees on the land.
