Back To School With Crewcuts: J. Crew Style Inspiration
If your kids don’t start school until after Labor Day then you may be like me…shopping for back to school clothes at the last minute. Usually, I start early August, but the business of summer got in the way this year. That’s why I love J. Crew (for me) and their Crewcuts line (for my 8-year-old daughter); besides the fact that they always have clothing that’s fresh and fun, it’s easy to mix and match and extremely well-made, plus they’ll always give you outfit ideas on their websites. So with less than a week before school starts, to my rescue–and yours–is Jenny Cooper, J. Crew’s Head Designer of Crewcuts. A mom of two, she knows just how hectic it can be getting the kids coordinated and back into the swing of school supplies, lunch money and textbooks, and yep, school clothes, so she has put together her top picks for the 2014 back to school season for boys and girls.
See below for all of Jenny’s favorites, ranging from jackets to dresses, sweaters to sweatpants and jewelry to boots. If you’ve got a fashionista on your hands, like I do, let them flip through these looks as well, then you’re armed at JCrew.com or your local J.Crew store with exactly what your kid is going to love.
