Fans of “The Simpsons” (both young + old) are about to have a cow, man. The Associated Press reports Legos just announced the popular show is going to get its own series starting in 2014. Legos makes toys for kids, but “The Simpsons” aren’t always kid-friendly.

The company is hoping to capitalize on the success of its “Star Wars” franchise. “Star Wars” is a classic series that’s great for families, even though it touches upon some heavy themes like dead parents and destiny. The reason why some parents may scoff at the latest move by Legos is simply due to the adult tone in some of “The Simpsons” episodes. Recently, on one show –  Marge accidentally signed up for a website for married couples looking for affairs. She’s even been on the cover of “Playboy”.

There’s no doubt older fans of the long-running series will snap up the new Lego pieces, but parents might not be so quick to buy them for birthday parties.
