Anyone that’s ever raised or even met a toddler knows that nap time can be a fight. But a woman operating a daycare center out of her Ohio home took things way too far when she slipped medication in the kids’ pancakes, CNN reports.

Tammy Eppley, 37, runs the Catepillar Clubhouse where she cares for six children ages 2 to 5, including her own child. Eppley reportedly crushed up allergy medications like Benadryl or supplements like melatonin and added them to pancake batter. She would tell friends things like “I just gave them their nappy time medicine.” After jokingly saying she sedated the kids via text, a friend reported her to child protective services. None of the children have suffered any illness from the medications.

Eppley denies the allegations and say the texts were just the words of a frustrated woman who wished the kids would just take a nap. She is being charged with six counts of child endangerment. Her first court appearance is July 12.
