Kim Kardashian vs. Kate Middleton – The Special “K” Effect

January 13, 2013  |

I’ll admit, I love the look of sultry sex kitten Kim Kardashian. I don’t think it’s possible for the girl to look bad in anything. I mean seriously, she could make a bed sheet look good and have people falling over themselves to copy the togo style. On the other hand Kate Middleton exudes the same confidence, but it isn’t gushing sex the way Kim’s persona does. Kate’s wardrobe screams class as well as a chic, boutique ageless style.

If I had it my way I would want to see Kim dress like Kate for a week and vice versa. Can you imagine Kim Kardashian wearing a dress that covers her from neck to shin without anything hanging or protruding out? Or Kate dawning a tight fitting leopard dress with a full lace front that stops below the crotch? Laughable to say the least, not that either couldn’t pull it off and still look amazing, but the contrast would be very memorable.

Designers say that Kim Kardashian’s style has the capacity to cause more of an uproar on the purchasing front than that of Kate Middleton. Hmmm, I wonder why? Could it be that sex sells and always will while class and grace struggle to run a close second? (sad).

According to the Daily Mail, French designer Rouland Mouret is claiming that although women seem to lust after whatever Kate Middleton wears, it is actually Kim Kardashian that has even more selling power than the Duchess.

So what do the two contrasting wardrobes tell us? Is Kim committed to displaying sex appeal or is Kate to cool to be bothered with creating media frenzy with her garments? I vote for Kate.

Mommy Noire readers, who gets your vote? Kate or Kim?
