We love men in all shades, ethnicities, and backgrounds; but what’s not to love about a fine black man who also happens to be a celebrity? We’ve compiled a list of some of Hollywood’s sexiest, most irresistible chocolate men to grace our television screens. Check out our list, featuring so much chocolate it could possibly give Godiva a run for its money.
Tyrese
He’s an actor, singer, and most recently a book author. Lately inspiring people with his words, it only adds icing to the cake that Tyrese is a pleasantry to the eyes. He’s surely come a long way from the skinny kid on the bus singing in his first Coke commercial. Hot, chocolate, and inspiring, Tyrese definitely makes our list.
Idris Elba
You simply can’t have a list of fine black men, specifically fine, dark, black men, without including British born actor Idris Elba. Besides being an enticing piece of eyecandy, he has a killer accent to match. The Grammy nominated actor has worked alongside some of Hollywood’s most beautiful women, including Beyonce and Gabrielle Union, while we watched in harmless envy.
Morris Chestnut
Tall, dark, and Hot, Morris Chestnut has been around since the initial days of the plethora of black films that exposed the violence in our communities. Don’t forget we cried (at least I did) when his character Ricky died in the John Singleton film, Boyz n the Hood. Since then he’s been featured in numerous films; and we’ve literally enjoyed watching him in each one.
Lance
No last name needed. Although a newcomer in Hollywood, mention the name Lance, and black women immediately can put the face to the name. The young actor seemed to burst on the scene out of nowhere. He was the fine, chocolate actor that many women, young and old, inquired about. Soon after his introduction to Hollywood, we began seeing him all over, mostly in Tyler Perry productions.
In a public breakup from Top Model, Eva Marcelle, Lance still kept his cool remaining calm and suave throughout the somewhat media frenzy. A man that’s Hot, calm, and collected, we definitely like!
Blair Underwood
The 40 something actor seems to look better with time. The epitome of a fine, black man, Blair Underwood has been featured in various productions from Sex And The City (Miranda’s brief doctor, boyfriend) to films like Set It Off and Something New. Currently acting as President Elias Martinez, in the television series The Event, Blair Underwood fans now have the opportunity to follow him weekly. At this point, we’re thinking the Golden Globe winning actor will never age.
Taye Diggs
Some of us really didn’t notice how fine actor Taye Diggs was, until seeing him alongside actress Sanaa Lathan in the movie Brown Sugar. Parading around in tailored suits, he was the dark chocolate we needed that added to a great movie that served as an ode to Hip Hop.
Featured in many lists compiled of the sexiest black men, it’s no surprise that Taye Diggs makes our list as well.
Darrin Henson
Most notably known for his portrayal of ex-convict Lem Van Adams on the Showtime TV series Soul Food, Darrin Henson is one of those actors we don’t see as much as we’d like to. He’s been featured in a handful of other movies, including Stomp The Yard.
This past February, the actor co-starred in the Gospel Music Channel’s debut of John Ruffin’s stage play The Ideal Husband which also stars Jackee Harry, Ginuwine, and Shirley Murdock.
