Earlier this week, everyone was trying to find out the identity of the mystery woman with whom Safaree Samuels has been prancing around town. The beauty has since been identified as Samuels’ new girlfriend, Zashia Santiago, and, of course, folks are already digging up dirt on her.
According to court records obtained by our sister site, Bossip, the former nursing assistant pled guilty to one count of felony possession of 15 or more unauthorized access devices after she confessed to illegally obtaining the names, dates of birth, social security numbers and addresses of 20 patients. She reportedly intended to pass the information along to associate Cristobal Puig, who allegedly planned to file fake tax returns and pay her $200 to $500 per person once the tax checks came through.
The deal fell through when the now 25-year-old’s boss at Baptist Health System alerted authorities after he caught her with a list of the private information belonging to the patients.
Due to a plea deal, Santiago was able to avoid serving jail time but was sentenced to three years of probation, 100 hours of community service and a $100 fine. She was also stripped of her license as a certified nursing assistant.
Of course, everyone has a past. Hopefully, she has learned from her mistakes.
