I never could quite understand the union between Robert and Andrea Kelly. Mostly because she didn’t seem like his type, being over 16 and all.
But first thing this morning, as I was perusing Instagram on the toilet, I saw a glimpse of what she might have put on Kellz back in the day to make him want to walk down that aisle.
For those of you who don’t know, in addition to being R Kelly’s ex wife and, subsequently, a star on “Hollywood Exes,” Andrea, (Drea), is a professionally trained (and employed) dancer. And yesterday, in Atlanta, she hosted a Ladies Night Out event where she was teaching women how reclaim their sexy with the art of seduction.
And after watching some of the footage from last night, it’s clear that Drea is more than qualified to lead.
Apparently, R Kelly wasn’t the only freaky one in this marriage.

When I first watched the video I wondered why no one was applauding. Why didn’t the place erupt in cheers? Later, when I learned it was a class, I realized this women were studying…intently.
I already know that so many people will look at this video and be quick to shame Andrea for being too much of a lady, too old or too much of a mother to be twerking in public. Whatevs. I don’t need to defend her; but she is a dancer, and she was clearly using her powers for good, trying to help other women out. Personally, I’m just trying to see if I can use her expertise to perfect my own technique.
