“I Am Up Every Three Hours With The Baby”: Ludacris On Diaper Duty With Newborn, Cadence
We told you last week that rapper Ludacris and his wife Eudoxie welcomed their first child together. The little lady’s name is Cadence, and according to the rapper, he is very hands-on with his baby girl. He claims to be up taking care of the newborn at all hours of the night.
Luda shared his experiences and gave thanks to his fans in a video that he posted this past weekend:
“I want to thank everybody for your well-wishes on the new baby and, of course, my marriage. I wear this as a badge of honor! So shout out to the fans and all the overwhelming support from the followers and everybody. And yes, I am up every three hours with the baby. But in the meantime and in between times, I’m still working. This what I gotta do. I work. I work hard. I got people working with me. I’m here to let ya’ll know, man, the work doesn’t stop. As soon as you continue to build the family and continue to have more offspring, all it makes you want to do is work harder, get more money and ensure nothing but great success for everybody. So, love ya’ll. Thank you for the support. And I’ll continue working hard on behalf of not only my family, but yours too.”
Again, this is Eudoxie’s first child and Ludacris’ third. Cadence joins 1-year-old Cai Bella and 13-year-old Karma.
In 2013, Ludacris talked about being a protective dad while chatting with Ellen DeGeneres. At that time, he only had to worry about Karma, and he said that she was already talking about boys. He wasn’t having it.
“It’s bad because I’m extremely protective, and she just told me that she thought a boy at school was ‘cool.’ I said, ‘Well, what makes him cool?’ She said, ‘You know, he’s nice.’ And I’m like, ‘Oh God…I need his address, name, social security number, everything.’ Yeah, very overprotective.”
Now that he has three daughters to look after, you know Luda won’t play any games with these little boys…
Good luck to him and congratulations to Ludacris and Eudoxie on their bundle of joy, Cadence Gaelle!
