    I have did this before…my advice is, Keep it short, Keep it simple, and put it in his lunch if you still cook and make his lunch. This can even be done if you don't live together. Cook the night before, take his lunch to him before he goes to work or on his lunch break.

    Or write a long letter expressing yourself deeply and honestly. But attach a gift and give it to him "just because". Men love gifts just because it allows us to let them know we as women understand how hard they work and we understand the pressures of life they experience. So maybe that nice shirt, bottle of cologne, pair of shoes, or CD should have a letter attached.

    SIDE NOTE: only should be done for good, hard working, honest black men!
