Earlier this week, we told you that “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” cast member Althea Eaton filed a lawsuit against Joseline Hernandez for assaulting her at the series’ reunion show taping. In her suit, Althea also claimed that Joseline’s attack was fueled by drugs, which she allegedly consumed backstage the day the show was filmed.
Joseline’s purported husband, Steven “Stevie J” Jordan recently spoke to TMZ about the drug abuse allegations, which he of course claims are totally false. According to Stevie, Althea began spreading lies about Joseline’s alleged drug use before the reunion was even filmed. As for the lawsuit, the controversial reality star says that it’s simply a tactic for Althea to draw attention from the fact that Benzino slugged Joseline in the midst of the brawl.
“No grown man should hit a woman,” said Stevie.
Unsurprisingly, The Jordans say they have plans to countersue to Althea. Benzino, however, is already calling BS on his ex-friend’s countersuit, but he’s not denying socking Joseline either.
“It’s clear that him and his whore jumped off the couch and attacked us and whatever happened from there was merely self-defense.”
If it’s true that Benzino punched Joseline, he’s dead wrong; however, it’s interesting to note that he did try to prevent a physical altercation from happening a couple of months ago.
“Can someone please tell me why this animal keeps threatening my girl on TV?” he questioned in an Instagram post. “She went from a stripper to a street-walking prostitute to an escort and now a reality star. Althea has never once said anything bad about her, but trust the GREEN-SCREEN GANGSTA won’t lay a finger on her.”
“I can take the jokes and insults but when she keeps talkin’ about violence is where I draw the line,” he continued. “She need to go get her GED and uplift herself cause her music is lacking. I feel sorry for Sleazo violence will not be tolerated.”
Clearly, this drama is going to extend way beyond the next two installments of the reunion special.
