Many of us were shocked to learn that last Fall, “Blood Sweat and Heels” cast member Geneva Thomas was arrested for cracking a bottle over Melyssa Ford, her fellow cast member’s, head.

You may remember Ford was taken to Lenox Hill hospital while Thomas was charged with felony assault.

Today, Thomas had her day in court. Our sister site Bossip reports that the 31-year-old pled guilty to one count of third degree assault and Judge Melissa Jackson sentenced Thomas to 10 days of community service.

Thomas, who initially faced charges of criminal possession of a weapon and felony assault in the second degree, won’t serve any jail time and won’t be placed on probation as long as she stays away from Ford, as she promised she would.

A source close to Ford told Bossip that Melyssa still suffers from vertigo as a result of the assault and feels like the punishment is too lenient.

“She doesn’t understand why this person isn’t going to jail. She could’ve been killed.”

You may also remember that shortly after the incident was widely reported, Thomas stated that she was going to sue Ford in a $25 million defamation suit.

This may be a bit hard to do now that she’s pleaded guilty. There is also no record of the suit on file. The source, Ford’s friend, said that Melyssa has never spoken publicly about Thomas since the incident occurred.
