Sam Smith And John Legend Release Duet To Raise Money For Poor In UK And Africa

Soul singers Sam Smith  and John Legend have teamed up for a duet titled, “Lay Me Down.” Debuting today, the single has been released on iTunes for sale and will serve as the theme song for the UK-based charity Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day, reports TIME Magazine.

According to the Comic Relief site, Red Nose Day occurs every two years to raise funds for people who are discriminated against and living in poverty in the UK and Africa. Proceeds from Smith’s and Legend’s “Lay Me Down” duet will be donated to the charity.

The two released a music video for the song for their fans. Watch it below.
