Things have been looking up for one-time “Basketball Wives” cast member Kenya Bell ever since she left the show. In 2012, the divorcee signed a major record deal. And recently, she revealed that she just finalized her wedding plans.
“We just finalized the wedding and it’s going to be a cruise,” Bell told VH1.
Over the holidays, the former reality star got engaged to her boyfriend of two years, who she actually began dating during filming for BBW. The two are set to tie the knot next month.
“We’re getting married in March — everyone thought I was already pregnant! It was really fast,” she admitted.
Apparently, the rushed plans were due to convenience—not pregnancy, but the mother of two confessed that she definitely intends to have another baby with her husband-to-be.
“He doesn’t have any kids so I wouldn’t think it was right if I married him and didn’t have a baby with him.”
Of course, considering that her children are preteens, many are wondering why on earth she would go back and start over with a newborn, but the 37-year-old says the age gap between her daughters and her unborn child probably won’t be so bad.
“Don’t make me think about it!! My kids now are 11 and 12 so I was thinking, my daughters are probably going to be driving when I have a newborn — that’s ridiculous!”
While she intends to keep her relationship out of the limelight, she’s apparently looking to jump back into reality television.
“Royce [Reed] and I actually just filmed a mini-pilot together,” she revealed before joking about people on social media constantly mistaking her for RHoA’s Kenya Moore. “I keep getting tweets directed at her like, ‘Girl, why’d you do Porsha like that??’ and I’m like what are you talking about??”
So far, the specifics of her project with Royce are unclear, but would you be down for a show starring these two?
